This morning the Horsham Golf Club announced they have been fortunate to have been awarded two Government grants.

Successful with a Victorian Government grant, the Vic Health Active Club Grant, to the value of $2,000 for the implementation of a school girl golf training/coaching program to be delivered over 18 months. "We are extremely appreciative to receive this grant that will help develop golf to young girls in the region" - Janene, Acting Manager.

The second grant application was a Federal Government Department of Health Grant, Driving Social Inclusion through Sport and Physical Activity, to the value of $179,000. This grant is for the delivery of a sporting program with targets identified community groups who will directly benefit from an increase in involvement in sporting and community-based activities.
